Darlene Cordero is an award winning art director and the founder of Cordero Design Corp., an art & design studio based in Brooklyn, New York. Her creative work focuses on conceptual key art and brand identity that spans print, motion, multimedia and digital platforms. Darlene’s passion for music and entertainment led to her start as a design intern for MTV prior to graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Since then Cordero has worked with some of the most iconic brands in the industry including Paramount+, Showtime, Comedy Central, MTV, BET, CNBC, USA, SYFY, Oxygen, A&E, History Channel, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon.
Darlene has been recognized by Promax Awards; regional and international, The Type Directors Club, LIMA, Art Directors Club and has been both recipient and judge of Young Guns, a prestigious talent competition awarding creative professionals. In addition, Darlene has taught at the Miami Ad School and provided mentorship in all creative team settings. She is multi-disciplinary hands-on creative with a strong design sensibility shifting effortlessly from ideation to execution. She is also a certified RYT 500+ Yoga Instructor with special needs, prenatal and therapeutic training.
