DARLENE CORDERO is a creative team leader, art director, passionate storyteller, and hands on designer. She has proven ability to inspire creative teams, produce great creative, leverage brand potential while being mindful of business goals, and knows how to shape amazing brands while having fun in the process.
She is currently working at CNBC art directing and managing the development of all creative assets for individual prime time show launches and campaigns including: on-air promos, digital, social media, print, out of home and other assets for marketing initiative and stunts. Darlene has worked with some of the most respected companies and trend-setting brands in the world including: MTV, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, Oxygen, SyFy, Nickelodeon, Animal Planet and Discovery Brands. She has been the recipient of the Art Directors Club Young Guns in New York and has won numerous Promax/BDA International and Latin American Awards. Cordero is also recognized by the Type Directors Club, Creativity 26, Print, and LIMA.
She was born and raised in New York and has lived and worked in South Beach, Miami and Atlanta, Georgia. Cordero earned her BFA in Advertising & Design from The Fashion Institute of Technology and is also a 500HR Certified Yoga Teacher with Prenatal, Therapeutic and Special Needs certifications.
